Oat Meal Gems, page 20

Two cups oat meal put to soak over night in 2 cups cold water, 1 table-spoonful salt; in the morning add 2 cups butter-milk, 2 teaspoonfuls soda, flour enough to make a stiff batter. Have gem pans hot.
