Meat Loaf, page 33

Two pounds beef, 1 pound fresh pork, minced fine, 6 square crackers rolled fine and soaked in a half teacup of sweet cream 5 minutes; salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Form into a loaf, put in roasting pan and pour a little boiling water over it and baste while baking. Bake about an hour and a half.
