Lemon Pie, page 279 Beat yolks of 7 eggs and 1 white together, add 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1 pint water, and juice of 2 lemons; bake in pie pans lined with rich paste; beat the 6 whites to a stiff froth, add 6 table-spoonfuls sugar, spread over the top and slightly brown.
