Corn Cure, page 277

Carbolic acid applied every night till cured. Do not touch the flesh, just the corn. Apply with the cork of the bottle. It will soon dry. Use with care.

Take two slices of bread buttered, put lettuce leaves between and spread lettuce leaves with mayonnaise dressing.

Scrambled Eggs and Cheese, page 272.

Stir seven or eight eggs into buttered skillet, add 2 table-spoonfuls of cream and half a teacup of cream cheese minced fine; scramble all together, salt and pepper, serve hot.
